Hello… I am back

Hello… I am back. Have tight up with three major Six Sigma related activities for the past few week. Make me find short of time to update my blog. Today I manage to deliver result of one of the assignment I take up. This give me a chance to take a break before I kick start another new assignment in my pipe line.

Really fun to participate in Six Sigma methodology research and development activities, lot of knowledge gain on each assignment closed. To me, experience and knowledge acquired is much more valuable than the cash reward from the sponsor.

I am happy with the outcome. This is the most important one.

I will compile the lesson learnt and share the knowledge with you on my up coming post.

Sample Size Calculation For SPC

How to determine sample size for SPC?

I have been searching the answer for the past few days, finally, got some idea from one publication in isixsigma

According to Central Limit Theorem, margin of error is reducing as number of sample data increase. As show in chart below (assuming standard normal distribution where population standard deviation = 1 and 95% confident level)
